PortWatch Gen2 ("the app") is a private portfolio-monitoring tool that displays trading profit-and-loss data to authorized users. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
To sign in, the app authenticates you through Microsoft Entra ID (Microsoft's identity service). As part of sign-in, the app receives your account identity (such as your name, email address, and a user identifier) and a secure access token. The token is stored only on your device using the operating system's secure storage (Apple Keychain) and is used to retrieve portfolio data from PortWatch servers.
The portfolio and market figures shown in the app are read from PortWatch servers operated by us; they are not collected from you or from your device.
Your account identity is used solely to authenticate you and authorize access to the data your organization has permitted. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell or rent personal information. Authentication is handled by Microsoft Entra ID under Microsoft's terms; portfolio data is served by our own backend. We do not share your information with other third parties.
The app offers a "Continue in demo mode" option that displays sample, synthetic data only. Demo mode requires no account and collects no personal information.
The access token is held on your device and is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app. Network communication uses encrypted connections (HTTPS).
You can sign out at any time within the app to clear the stored token, or uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data.
